The Minister of Finance Meets with President of AIIB

HE Mr Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance, met with Ms Zou Jiayi President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). On the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) held between 13-18 April 2026 in Washington DC, USA. During the meeting, a number of financial and economic topics were reviewed, in addition to discussions on current developments at both the regional and international levels and the associated challenges, particularly with regard to issues of mutual interest between the two sides.
